Reviews:

The Brazil 1 Cruzeiro Novo on 1,000 Cruzeiros Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Brazil in 1967 as part of the provisional Cruzeiro Novo issues. It has a color combination of blue, orange, tan, and purple. Its obverse features explorer Pedro Alvares Cabral and a black circular BANCO CENTRAL 1 CRUZEIRO NOVO overprint. On the reverse is a representation of Primeira Missa depicting trees, native Tupiniquim Indians wearing feather headdresses, Portuguese explorers with the banner of the Order of Christ, and priests at an outside altar on April 26, 1500. The note does not contain a security thread and watermark. This 157 x 67 mm paper bill bears the signatures of Denio Chagas Nogueira and Octavio Gouvea de Bulhoes. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
