The Brazil 10 Cruzeiros Banknote was introduced by the Central Bank of Brazil in 1962 as part of the provisional issues. The banknote has a color combination of olive green, brown, and purple and bears Portuguese text. Its obverse features the 14th and 17th president, Getulio Dornelles Vargas wearing a bow tie. The reverse of the note depicts the Unidade Nacional (National Unity) represented by an allegorical man kneeling with a metal shaft in front of factory buildings, smokestacks, and gears. The banknote does not contain a watermark and security thread, however, it is signed by Walter Moreira Salles and Reginaldo Fernandes Nunes. It measures 157 x 67 mm. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
