The Brazil 200 Cruzeiros on 200 Cruzados Novos Banknote is a provisional banknote issued by the Central Bank of Brazil in 1990 with a 200 CRUZEIROS overprint on the front design. It has a color combination of blue, green, and orange. The obverse side of the banknote features an effigy of Republica and the coat of arms of Brazil. It also depicts Marshal Manuel Deodoro da Fonseca, Silva Jardim, Benjamin Constant, and Quintino Bocaiuva. The reverse of the banknote displays a detail of Patria or Fatherland which is a 1918 oil painting of Pedro Paulo Bruno depicting the sewing of the flag of Brazil by seated women and children. It also bears laurels and a star, and flowers. The banknote measures 140 x 65 mm and is equipped with a solid security thread and a watermark image of the Head of Republica. It also carries a registration device in the form of laurels and a star and the signatures of Mailson Ferreira Da Nobrega and Wadico Waldir Bucchi. This paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
