The Brazil 5 Centavos on 50 Cruzeiros Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Brazil in 1966 as part of the provisional cruzeiro novo issues. It is in a color combination of purple, orange, blue, green, and red. The obverse of the note depicts a black circular BANCO CENTRAL 5 CENTAVOS overprint and a portrait of Princesa Isabel wearing a pearl necklace. The reverse of the paper bill depicts LEI AUREA which is an illustration of a seated allegorical woman holding a stone tablet with open shackles, chains, and stocks. The paper bill does not contain a security thread and watermark. It is 157 x 67 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition. On this particular banknote, the signatory title is incorrectly spelled as MINSTRO. This paper bill has a repeating serial #004004 and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
