This uncirculated 5 Cruzados Novos on 5,000 Cruzados Brazil note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Brazil. It is a blue, green, orange, and yellow note that is dated 1989 ND, bear the signatures of Mailson Ferreira Da Nobrega and Elmo de Araujo Camoes, and measures 154 x 74 mm. Its obverse side features a black triangular 5 CRUZADOS NOVOS overprint, “Tiradentes” mural with kneeling man holding child and standing woman with broken chains, Candido Torquato Portinari, a seahorse as registration device, and a paint brushes in vase. Its reverse side shows a seahorse, Candido Torquato Portinari painting outline of woman for “Baianas” mural of children and horse, and a paint brush. Security features include a solid security thread with printed BANCO CENTRAL DO BRASIL and a watermark of Candido Torquato Portinari. The note was withdrawn on 31 December 1990.
