This uncirculated brown 5 Brazilian cruzeiro banknote is part of the Amazonas series of banknotes. It is also known as the Indian banknote because it features an Indian man (indigenous man) on the obverse side. Other features on the obverse side include an image of a raft man at sea. The reverse side of the banknote features the Victoria amazonica, the largest water lily found in the Amazon. The banknote does not have a watermark or a security thread. However, its dimensions are 156 mm by 67 mm. The banknote is designed by Orlando Maia and signed by Director of Amortization Fund Walter Moreira Salles and Finance Minister Reginaldo Fernandes Nunes.
