Reviews:

The Brazil 5 Reais is part of the family of notes issued in 1997 with a pick number P-244Ak. Banknotes from this series have oval symbols on its left front to help the visually impaired distinguish between denominations. This particular banknote comes in uncirculated condition and is TAP authenticated. The obverse side depicts the bust of Republica. Its vertical-oriented reverse features a Garca bird known as Casmerodius albus or a great egret standing in a swamp. The Brazil 5 Reais bears a registration device that reflects the countrys Coat of Arms with laurels and a star. It also has the signatures of Pedro Sampaio Malan and Arminio Fraga Neto. Printed by CASA DE MOEDA DO BRASIL, the 140 x 65 mm banknote has security thread and watermark varieties
