This uncirculated 50 Brazilian cruzeiro note is a standard circulation banknote introduced by the Central Bank of Brazil in 1980 as part of the cruzeiro series. It is a purple, black, and orange note that bears the signatures of Ernane Galveas and Carlos Geraldo Langoni, and measures 162 mm x 75 mm. Its obverse side features the first president of Brazil, Marshal Manuel Deodoro da Fonseca. Its reverse side depicts a shipment of coffee in Portinari. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a Deodoro da Fonseca watermark. The note was withdrawn from circulation in 1984.
