Reviews:

The Brazil 50 Cruzeiros is part of the 1990 ND provisional cruzeiro issues with a pick number P-223. They are remaining banknotes from preceding issues but carry a black rectangular overprint that reflects the denominations in the new monetary unit. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and is TAP authenticated. The obverse features Brazilian poet Carlos Drummond de Andrade, a handwritten text, and a village scene. The back of the banknote depicts Carlos Drummond de Andrade writing with inkwell, pens, pencils, and paper. The poem Cancao Amiga or Friendly Song is also shown. The 140 x 65 mm paper bill has a stylized head as its registration device. It also has a solid security thread and a watermark that reflects the head of Republica.
