This uncirculated 50 Brazilian Cruzeiro note is a provisional banknote issued by the Central Bank of Brazil in 1990 as the currency transitioned from Cruzado Novo to Cruzeiro. It is a brown note that bear the signatures of Mailson Ferreira Da Nobrega and Wadico Waldir Bucchi, and measures 140 mm x 65 mm. Its obverse side features a black stamp of 50 CRUZEIROS, a picture of the poet Carlos Drummond de Andrade, a handwritten excerpt from Andrades manuscript of Prece de um Mineiro no Rio (Prayer of a Mineiro in Rio), and a village in Itabira. Its reverse side shows a scene of Andrade writing on a desk, with the poem Cancao Amiga (Friendly Song) at the side. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark of the head of Republica. Though this note is in uncirculated condition, it comes with stains. The note was withdrawn in 1994. The details of this note have been verified and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
