NOTE TO PROSPECTIVE PURCHASERS OF BANKNOTES THAT ARE STILL IN CIRCULATION
There may be widespread, unfounded claims that circulating currencies such as the Indonesian rupiah, Iraqi dinars and/or Vietnamese dong will increase in value relative to the US dollar. Banknote World wishes to warn potential purchasers of such circulating banknotes against expecting that these currencies will be revalued or otherwise increase significantly in value as a currency. Banknote World sells such currencies as collectibles at prices that are already above their face value given the quality preservation and authentication services we provide. Purchasers are advised that while the value of banknotes as collectibles may go up and down based on collector interest, significant increases in value as a circulating currency are NOT likely
Banknote World does not guarantee any future price or value with respect to any banknote that it sells. By purchasing circulating or non-circulating currency from us, you confirm your understanding that Banknote World sells banknotes as collectibles and that the purchasing of banknotes for any reasons other than for collecting purposes is highly speculative. You also confirm you understanding that Banknote World does not guarantee any future price or value with respect to any banknote that it sells. You agree that your purchase of any banknotes and/or coins from Banknote World is for collectible purposes only.-

This uncirculated 50 Brazilian cruzeiro note was part of the provisional notes issued by the Central Bank of Brazil as the currency transitioned from cruzado novo to cruzeiro. The denomination was printed on a 50 cruzado novo note. It was eventually withdrawn in September 1992. Its obverse side included a black stamp of 50 CRUZEIROS, a picture of the poet Carlos Drummond de Andrade, a handwritten excerpt from Andrades manuscript of Prece de um Mineiro no Rio (Prayer of a Mineiro in Rio), and a village in Itabira. The reverse side depicts a scene of Andrade writing on a desk, with the poem Cancao Amiga (Friendly Song) at the side. The note has a solid security mark and a watermark of the Head of Republica. Its dimensions are 140 mm x 65 mm.
