The Brazil 50 Reais Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Brazil in 2010. It is predominantly beige and olive green. Its obverse features the head of Republica. The reverse depicts a jaguar with its paws on a log. It also shows a puzzle number. The banknote contains a holographic stripe, a solid security thread with a demetallized 50 REAIS, a registration device that reflects a puzzle number, and a watermark that reveals a jaguar and an electrotype 50. The note is 149 x 70 mm in size and is signed by Paulo Guedes and Roberto Campos Neto. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
