The Brazil 500 Cruzados Novos Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Brazil in 1990. It has hints of green, orange, purple, blue, and yellow. Its obverse side features a hummingbird, an orchid, and a portrait of the naturalist Augusto Ruschi. Its reverse side depicts Ruschi examining his plants. Security features include a hummingbird registration device, a solid security thread, and a watermark of the Head of the Republica. It was printed by the Casa da Moeda do Brasil and is 140 mm x 65 mm in size. It bears the signatures of Mailson Ferreira Da Nobrega and Wadico Waldir Bucchi. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
