Brazil 500 Cruzeiros on 500 Cruzados Novos Banknote, 1990 ND, P-226b, UNC, TAP 60-70 Authenticated

The Brazil 500 Cruzeiros on 500 Cruzados Novos Banknote is part of the provisional issues released by the Central Bank of Brazil in 1990. It comes in a color combination of green, orange, purple, blue, and yellow. Featured on its obverse is naturalist Augusto Ruschi, a hummingbird, an orchid flower, and a black rectangular 500 CRUZEIROS overprint. The reverse of the paper bill depicts a hummingbird, orchid flowers, and Augusto Ruschi examining plants. Security features of the banknote include a hummingbird registration device, a solid security thread, and a watermark that reveals the bust of Republica. The banknote is 140 x 65 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition. It has also been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
