Brazil 500 Cruzeiros on 500 Cruzados Novos Banknote, 1990 ND, P-226b, UNC

The 500 Brazilian cruzeiros on 500 Cruzados Novos note is part of the provisional cruzeiro series issued by the Central Bank of Brazil in 1990. These provisional notes have black rectangular overprints that indicate the new denomination. The 500 Brazilian cruzeiro note has a rectangular black overprint on the 500 cruzados novos note. Its color scheme is green, orange, purple, blue, and yellow. The front design contains the black rectangular 500 CRUZEIROS overprint, a hummingbird, an orchid flower, and a portrait of the naturalist Augusto Ruschi. Its back design depicts a hummingbird near orchid flowers watching Augusto Ruschi examining plants in his garden. Security features include a hummingbird registration device, a solid security thread and a watermark of the Head of Republica. Its dimensions are 140 mm by 65 mm. It was printed by the Casa da Moeda do Brasil and signed by Ministro da Fazenda Mailson Ferreira Da Nobrega and Presidente do Banco Central do Brasil Wadico Waldir Bucchi. This note is in uncirculated condition.
