This uncirculated 1,000 Bulgarian lev note is part of the 1994 series of banknotes issued by the Central Bank of Bulgaria after the fall of the communist government. It has a fancy serial number and bears the signatures of Vulchev and Ivanov. Its obverse side shows the Bulgarian revolutionary Vasil Levsky, a rampant lion, and the “Liberated Bulgaria” sculpture by Georgi Danchov. Its reverse side shows the Vasil Levski monument in Sophia, a pistol, a cross, and a dagger on a book. Security features include a solid security thread with demetalized Bulgarian text and a watermark of Vasil Levski. Its dimensions are 149 mm x 74 mm.
