Reviews:

The Bulgaria 1,000 Leva is part of the family of notes issued after the fall of the communist government in 1994 highlighting famous Bulgarians. This particular paper bill comes in uncirculated condition. Its obverse features revolutionary leader Vasil Levski. The note also shows a rampant lion and Liberated Bulgaria which is a work by Georgi Danchov depicting an allegorical woman standing with a flag and a sword in her hands and a lion. The reverse of the banknote displays a Vasil Levski monument situated in Sofia. A pistol, a cross, and a dagger on a book are also visible. The 149 x 74 mm paper bill has a solid security thread with demetalized Bulgarian character. It also has a watermark that reflects Vasil Levski.
