This uncirculated 1 Bulgarian lev note is part of the 1999 redenominated Bulgarian lev series. It is a red, orange, and blue note that is dated 1999 and signed by Lyuben Ivanov and Svetoslav Gavriiski. Its obverse side features the 1789 icon of Saint Ivan Rilski from the Uspenie Bogorodichno (Assumption of Our Lady) Church near the Rila Monastery. Its reverse side shows the floor plan and the main church of the Rila Monastery. Security features include a holographic stripe, a solid security thread with demetalized Cyrillic text, and a watermark of a rampant lion. Its dimensions are 112 mm x 60 mm. The note was withdrawn from circulation in 2015. The details of this note have been verified and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
