The Bulgaria 10,000 Leva Banknote was released by the Bulgarian National Bank in 1996 in a color combination of brown, pink, orange, and blue. The banknote’s obverse features painter Vladimir Dimitrov-Maystora, the National Academy of Arts building in Sophia, two paintbrushes, and an artist’s palette. The reverse of the note isplays fragments from Dimitrov-Maystora’s work such as The Bulgarian Madonna. It also depicts flowers. The note bears a holographic stripe, a solid security thread with a demetallized Bulgarian text, and a watermark that reveals Vladimir Dimitrov-Maystora. The banknote is 167 x 80 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition. It has also been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
