The Bulgaria 10,000 Leva Banknote was issued by the Bulgarian National Bank in 1997. It has a color combination of olive green, yellow, and blue. The obverse of the note features educator Petar Beron, two globes, a rhinoceros and a whale from Beron’s Primer Containing Diverse Instructions which is also known as The Fish Primer. The reverse of the note depicts a telescope, a map, a ringed planet, phases of the moon, and scientific equipment. The banknote contains a holographic stripe, a solid security thread with a demetallized Bulgarian text. It also has a rampant lion watermark. The note is 112 x 62 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition.
