This uncirculated 20 Bulgarian lev banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bulgarian National Bank. It is a purple, blue, and pink banknote that is dated 2005, bear the signatures of Ivan Iskrov and Stefan Tzvetkov, and measures 134 mm x 74 mm. Its obverse side shows architectural elements from the Bulgarian National Bank building, the statue of Saint Nikola, and shields with vignettes from earlier banknote issues. Its reverse side depicts the old Bulgarian National Bank building, a seated woman holding a shield vignette from the 1920 banknote issues, the national coat of arms, and a replica of the 20-lev note from 1885. Security features include a varifeye thread, a windowed security thread with a demetalized Cyrillic BNB 20, and a watermark of a rampant lion with an electrotype Cyrillic BNB.
