Reviews:

The Bulgaria 5,000 Leva Banknote is part of the 1997 issues of the Bulgarian National Bank. It has a color combination of lilac and orange. The obverse of the note bears a portrait of writer Zahari Stoyanov, the coat of arms of Bulgaria, and a quill with Stoyanov’s writing. The reverse depicts a monument in Plovdiv dedicated to the Eastern Roumelia’s union with Bulgaria. It also shows the text of the proclamation of independence of 1885 and a rampant lion. The banknote has a solid security thread with a demetallized Bulgarian text and a watermark that reveals Zahari Stoyanov. It is 161 x 80 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition. This particular paper bill has also been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
