The Burma 1 Rupee Banknote was issued during the Japanese Occupation by the Japanese Government in 1942. Its obverse side shows a breadfruit tree, the Burmese coat of arms, and the Ananda Buddhist Temple in Bagan. Its reverse side shows guilloche patterns. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a quatrefoil pattern watermark. The dark green note is 141 mm x 67 mm in size. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
