Burundi 1,000 Francs Banknote, 2009, P-46, PMG 66

The Burundi 1,000 Francs is part of the 2009 series with a pick number P-46a. This particular paper bill comes in exceptional paper quality and has been given a grade of by the Paper Money Guaranty. The banknotes front side bears the emblem of Burundi, a coffee plant branch, and cattle. On its reverse are flags and the Monument of National Unity or Monument de lUnite Nationale on Vugizo hill situated in Bujumbura. A steer head is also shown on the back of the note. The 137 x 69 mm paper bill is composed of paper and has a solid security thread with a demetallized BRB. Furthermore, it would show an image of President Micombero watermark when held up to a light source.
