Burundi 1,000 Francs Banknote, 2009, P-46, PMG 67

The Burundi 1,000 Francs is part of the family of notes issued in 2009 with a pick number P-46. This banknote has been given a grade of 67 by the Paper Money Guaranty. Its obverse features the Coat of Arms of Burundi, a coffee plant twig, and cattle. The reverse depicts a steer head as well as flags and the Monument of National Unity or Monument de lUnite Nationale standing on Vugizo hill which is located in Bujumbura. The Burundi 1,000 Francs is 137 x 69 mm in size and is composed of paper. It bears a solid security thread with a demetallized BRB. Furthermore, it has a watermark which reflects an image of President Micombero.
