Burundi 10,000 Francs Banknote, 2013, P-49b, PMG 66

This 10,000 Burundi franc note is dated 31 October 2013 and signed by Melchior Wagara and Jean Gaspard Ciza. It is a blue, purple, and maroon note that measures 150 mm x 75 mm. Its obverse side features a holographic bird patch, Prince Rwagasore, and President Melchior Ndadaye. Its reverse side depicts a classroom scene and an Igiseke. Security features include a windowed security thread with a demetallized 10000 and a cattle watermark with an electrotype 10000 and Cornerstones. It is also a gem uncirculated note that qualified for Paper Money Guaranty’s Exceptional Paper Quality, experienced minor handling, and has above-average centering. Thus, it is graded 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty (PMG).
