Burundi 10,000 Francs Banknote, 2013, P-49b, UNC

This red and violet 10,000 Burundi franc banknote was first issued in 2004, and was demonetized in July 2015. Its obverse side features two people: Prince Louis Rwagasore, and President Melchior Ndadaye. Its reverse side depicts a vignette of three students studying in the classroom, and an image of a lidded Igiseke (presentation basket). The note has a windowed security thread with demetalized 10000 print, and a holographic bird patch printed on its obverse side. The notes watermarks are cattle, electrotyped 10000, and Cornerstones. It measures 150 mm long and 75 mm wide.
