Burundi 100 Francs Banknote, 2001, P-37c, UNC

This uncirculated 100 Burundi franc note is part of the series of notes introduced by the Bank of the Republic of Burundi in 2001. It is a purple note that is dated 01 August 2001 and bears the signature of Jean Makenga and Gregoire Banyiyezako. Its obverse side features the Independence Monument in Bujumbura and a portrait of Prince Louis Rwagasore. Its reverse side depicts the national emblem and the construction of a cinderblock building. Though the note has a solid security thread, it does not have a watermark. Its dimensions are 150 mm x 70 mm. The note was demonetized in 2010.
