Burundi 100 Francs Banknote, 2011, P-44b, PMG 69

The Burundi 100 Francs is part of the family of banknotes issued in 2011 with a pick number P-44b. This particular banknote comes in exceptional paper quality and has been given a grade of 69 by the Paper Money Guaranty. On its obverse are the Independence Monument in Bujumbura and a portrait of Prince Louis Rwagasore who was the 2nd Prime Minister of the country. The back of the banknote depicts construction of a cinderblock building and the national emblem. The 125 x 65 mm paper banknote has a solid security thread. Furthermore, it bears the signatures of Kanyana and Sindayigaya.
