The Burundi 5,000 Francs is part of the family of notes issued in 2011 with a pick number P-48b. This banknote comes in uncirculated condition and is TAP authenticated. The front side features the national emblem of Burundi, the Parliament House situated in Bujumbura, and a holographic patch that shows a cattle head. On the banknotes reverse are ships, cranes, and a building on a dock. The 145 x 73 mm paper banknote has a windowed security thread with a demetallized BRB. It also has a watermark which reflects a cattle.
