This uncirculated 500 Burundi franc note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of the Republic of Burundi. It is a dark blue and multicolor note that is dated 01 July 2003, bear the signatures of Salvator Toyi and Gregoire Banyiyezako, and measures 160 mm x 73 mm. Its obverse side features a bas relief of natives, trees, and a cauldron. Its reverse side shows the BRB building in Bujumbura and the national coat of arms. Security features include a windowed security thread with a demetallized BRB and a watermark of cattle. The note was demonetized in 2015.
