Burundi 500 Francs Banknote, 2015, P-50.1, PMG 67

The Burundi 500 Francs is part of the banknote series issued by the Bank of the Republic of Burundi in 2015. Banknotes from this series have enhanced security attributes and are accessible to the sight-impaired. This particular paper bill has been given a grade of 67 by the Paper Money Guaranty. Featured on the banknotes obverse are a coffee plant branch and berries, a flag, a crocodile, and a head of cattle below the latent BRB. The emblem of Burundi is also shown. The reverse of the banknote depicts a boat on water within a map outline of the country. The bank seal is also displayed. The 120 x 60 mm paper bill bears a fish as its registration device. Furthermore, it has a pearlescent stripe with a vertical 500 on its front and a pearlescent overprint with a flag and 500 / BRB on the reverse. The Burundi 500 Francs also has a watermark that reflects Prince Louis Rwagasore and an electrotype BRB.
