Burundi 500 Francs Banknote, 2015, P-50a.1, UNC

The Burundi 500 Francs Banknote is part of the 2015 - 2018 Issues. It is orange in color and measures 120 x 60 mm. The obverse side shows a fish as a registration device, a crocodile, the coat of arms, a coffee plant branch with berries, a flag, a cattle head below latent BRB. The reverse side features Burundi's map outline, a boat on the water, a fish, and a bank logo. It also bears a pearlescent stripe on the front with a vertical 500. This banknote contains a windowed holographic security thread with demetalized head of heifer, stars, and BRB. It uses a watermark with Prince Louis Rwagasore and electrotype BRB design.
