This uncirculated 0.1 Cambodian riel note is part of the first series of banknotes issued by the People’s Bank of Kampuchea after the Khmer Rouge regime. Because banknotes were not issued during the Khmer Rouge, the government gave away these notes to encourage their use. This green note is equivalent to 10 kak and measures 100 mm x 50 mm. Its obverse side shows the coat of arms of Cambodia. Its reverse side depicts two farmers with water buffaloes and tractors. The note does not have a security thread or a watermark.
