Cambodia 1,000 Riels Banknote, 2005, P-58a, UNC

The Cambodia 1,000 Riels Banknote was issued by the National Bank of Cambodia in 2005. The note has lilac and dark blue colors. The obverse features the Victory Gate of Angkor Thom. the sculpture art of Banteay Srei, and the mythical snake naga. The reverse depicts cranes loading containers on cargo ships at the port of Sihanoukville. The note does not contain a security thread but bears a lotus flower pattern watermark. It is 138 x 64 mm in size and is signed by Chea Chanto and Tieng Seng. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
