The Cambodia 100 Riels was released in 2001 by the National Bank of Cambodia with a pick number P-53. This particular paper bill comes in uncirculated condition. Its obverse features the Independence Monument which is located in Phnom Penh. It also depicts Naga which is a mythical serpent. On the back of the note are children outside a school building. The banknote which is 130 x 60 mm in size is made of paper. It is in purple and green colors and bears Khmer text on the front while English and Khmer text on the reverse. The security attribute of the Cambodia 100 Riels includes a watermark that reflects a Khmer text. It also carries the signatures of Chea Chanto who served as the governor of the National Bank of Cambodia and Tieng Seng who was the General Cashier.
