This uncirculated 5 Cambodian riel banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the National Bank of Cambodia from 1962 to 1975. It is a red banknote that bear the signatures of Hing Kunthel, Chai Thuol, and Long Chuon, and measures 134 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side shows the face sculpture at the Bayon Temple of Angkor Thom. Its reverse side depicts the Preah Thineang Chan Chihaya (Moonlight Pavilion). Though the banknote does not have a security thread, it has a watermark of a Buddha head.
