The Cambodia 5 Riels Banknote was issued by the National Bank of Cambodia between 1962 and 1975. This red banknote bears Khmer and French texts. Its obverse features a face sculpture at the Bayon temple of Angkor Thom. The reverse displays the Moonlight Pavilion (Preah Thineang Chan Chhaya). The note does not bear a security thread. Its watermark reveals the head of Buddha. It is 134 x 67 mm in size and is signed by Hing Kunthel, Chai Thuol, and Long Chuon. It was printed by Bradbury, Wilkinson, and Company and is in uncirculated condition.
