The Canada 1 Dollar banknote is part of the Scenes of Canada Series released by the Bank of Canada in 1973. It comes in a combination of green, yellow, red, blue, and black. The obverse of the banknote depicts the coat of arms of Canada and Queen Elizabeth II wearing an evening dress, a diamond necklace, and Queen Marys Cluster diamond earrings. The back of the paper bill depicts the Parliament buildings surrounded by trees on the banks of the Ottawa River with boats and logs. The banknote is 152 x 70 mm in size and bears on security thread and watermarks. This Canada 1 Dollar banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
