The Canada 1 Dollar Banknote was issued by the Bank of Canada in 1973 with a theme, Scenes of Canada. The banknote has a color combination of green, yellow, red, blue, and black. The note’s obverse features Queen Elizabeth II wearing an evening dress, a diamond necklace, and Queen Mary’s Cluster diamond rings. The reverse depicts Parliament buildings and trees on the banks of the Ottawa River with boats and logs. The note does not have a security thread and watermark. It is 152 x 70 mm in size and is signed by R. William Lawson and Gerald Keith Bouey. This banknote is in used condition.
