This Canada 1 Dollar banknote is part of the Scenes of Canada Issues released by the Bank of Canada in 1973. It comes in a color combination of green, yellow, red, Its front side depicts the Canadian coat of arms and Queen Elizabeth II wearing an evening dress, a diamond necklace, and Queen Marys Cluster diamond earrings. The back of the note features a distant view of Parliament buildings and trees on banks of Ottawa River with boats and logs. This paper bill is 157 x 70 mm in size and bears no security thread and watermark but carries the signatures of Deputy Governor John William Crow and Governor Gerald Keith Bouey. This paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
