This used 1 Canadian dollar note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Canada as part of the multicolored Scenes of Canada series. It is a green, yellow, red, blue, and black note that is dated 1973, bear the signatures of Deputy Governor John William Crow and Governor Gerald Keith Bouey, and measures 152 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side features the colored coat of arms and a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Anthony Buckley. Its reverse side features a view of the Parliament Buildings and the Ottawa River.
