Its obverse portrays first prime minister John Alexander MacDonald wearing a suit. It also shows the coat of arms of Canada. The reverse depicts an oil refinery at Sarnia in Ontario. It does not bear a security thread and watermark. It measures 152 x 70 mm and is signed by R. William Lawson and Gerald Keith Bouey. This particular 10 Canadian dollar banknote is in used condition.
