The Canada 10 Dollars Banknote was issued by the Bank of Canada in 1989. The banknote has a combination of purple, green, yellow, and brown. Its obverse features the coat of arms and 1st prime minister John Alexander Macdonald wearing a suit. It also depicts the Parliament building in Ottawa. The reverse depicts a bird in flight over a lake, clutching fish in talons. The banknote does not have a watermark or security thread. It is 152 x 70 mm in size and is signed by Gordon George Thiessen and John William Crow. This particular banknote is in used condition.
