The Canada 100 Dollar Banknote was released by the Bank of Canada in 2011 and printed on polymer. The brown features the 8th prime minister, Robert Laird Borden on its obverse. The reverse of the paper bill depicts an electrocardiogram reading, a woman looking into a microscope, a bottle of insulin, a DNA double helix, and a maple leaf. Security features of the note include a holographic stripe depicting Robert Borden and the tower of the East Block of the Parliament in Ottawa. The banknote does not contain a watermark and security thread. It measures 152 x 70 mm. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
