Canada 2 Dollars Banknote, 1954, P-76d, Used

The Canada 2 Dollars Banknote was issued by the Bank of Canada in 1954. The banknote has a combination of reddish-brown and black. Its obverse features the coat of arms and the modified portrait of Queen Elizabeth II without the “devil’s face in her hair. The reverse depicts clouds over rural Richmond, Quebec hills, a river, trees, homes, and a church. The banknote does not have a watermark or security thread. It is 152 x 70 mm in size and is signed by Gerald Keith Bouey and Lawson. This particular banknote is in used condition.
