The Canada 20 dollar banknote was released by the Bank of Canada in 2011. The banknote comes in green, yellow, purple, and orange combinations. The obverse of the note features Queen Elizabeth II wearing a dress and a pearl necklace, the coat of arms of Canada, the Center Block of the Parliament in Ottawa, and the flag of the nation. The reverse of the note displays the artworks of Canadian artist Bill Reid including The Raven and the First Men, The Spirit of Haida Gwaii, the Grizzly Bear, and Mythic Messengers. It also depicts an excerpt of The Hidden Mountain which is a novel by Gabrielle Roy. The 152 x 70 mm paper bill bears a holographic stripe, a gold-to-green windowed security thread with a demetalized 20 CAN, and a watermark that reflects an image of Queen Elizabeth II and an electrotype 20. This Canadian 20 Dollar banknote has been TAP authenticated and is in uncirculated condition.
