The Canada 5 Dollars Banknote Is part of the 1979 issues of the Bank of Canada. It has yellow, orange, blue, and green colors. I's obverse features the coat of arms of Canada and 7th prime minister, Wilfrid Laurier wearing a suit. The reverse depicts salmon fishing boats in Johnstone Strait, Vancouver Island, British Columbia. The note does not have a security thread and watermark but carries the signatures of John William Crow and Gerald Keith Bouey. It was printed by the Canadian Banknote Company and measures 152 x 70mm. This particular paper bill is in used condition.
