The Canada 5 Dollars Banknote is part of Bank of Canada’s 1986 issues. It has hints of purple, blue, yellow, and green and bears English and French text. Featured on its obverse is the seventh prime minister, Wilfred Laurier wearing a suit. It also displays the coat of arms of Canada and Parliament buildings in Ottawa. The reverse depicts a belted kingfisher (Martin-pecheur) perched on a branch overlooking a marsh. The note does not have a security thread and watermark, however, it is signed by Gerald Keith Bouey and John William Crow. It is 152 x 70 mm in size. This particular banknote is in used condition.
