The Canada 5 Dollars Banknote was issued by the Bank of Canada in 1986. It has a color combination of purple, blue, yellow, and green. Featured on the obverse is the 7th prime minister, Wilfrid Laurier wearing a sweet It also depicts the Coat of Arms of Canada and the parliament buildings in Ottawa. The reverse of the note features a belted kingfisher perched on a branch overlooking a marsh. The note contains no security thread and watermark however it bears the signatures of Gordon George Thiessen and Bernard Bonin. It is 152 x 70 mm in a size. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60 to 70.
